Meet The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Staff Members, Pastor Terry, Kristy, and Dana!



Pastor Terry’s hometown is Newburgh, Indiana which is a small town outside Evansville. Evansville is the third largest city in Indiana and is located in the southwest tip of the state on the Ohio River. He lived in these two towns all of his life prior to going to seminary.

Pastor Terry met his wife, Ann, in Evansville at a Lutheran Youth Congress event. They were married in 1982 and have 2 daughters, Tanya (28) and Amber (25). Pastor Terry is a second career individual and worked as a manufacturing engineer (electrical) and manager for 30 years prior to God’s call for him to enter seminary.

Pastor Terry graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH in 2014. He did Ministry in Context (MIC) work at All Saints Lutheran Church in Worthington, OH and interned at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Longwood, FL.

Dana pictureDana Hahn grew up and lives in rural Deshler, Ohio with her husband of 30 years, Dave and son Gregg. They also have a daughter Amanda and son-in-law Brent and grandson Grant who live in Grand Rapids, Ohio. She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Deshler, Ohio where she is also their church secretary. Dana is a graduate of Northwest Community College with an associate in applied science. She previously worked in the Health Care field for 28 years in a variety of health information positions. When not working, Dana enjoys camping trips and spending time with her family. She enjoys helping out in her home congregation with their outreach program of “Blessings in a Backpack” and “New Creation” Program. At Bethlehem, she is truly amazed at the support given to members of the community in times of need and the passion this congregation has for Project Noel and is blessed to be able to help with this project and to be part of the Bethlehem Family.

HELBERG-KRISTY-7Kristy Helberg is a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and has been Youth Director since 2007. She enjoys many ministries, especially Summer School, Youth Gatherings and Christmas Eve programs. Kristy Helberg is a 1998 graduate of Napoleon High School and 2003 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She has worked at WNDH radio as program director, on-air personality and news reporter. She has also been involved with Napoleon’s 6th grade Outdoor Education program for 19 years; and is employed by Camp Palmer for other school group and team building activities.
