Luther Leagues
Bethlehem Lutheran has youth groups for all ages. Our Jr. Lutherans are for the littlest Lutherans: preK to 5th grade. Jr. High Luther League is for 6th-8th graders and is designed for the middle school mindset. Then, Luther League is for our 9th-12th graders. All activities focus on faith and fun. Meeting in fellowship allows kids to be themselves and learn what it means to be a Christian.
Confirmation
The road to confirmation begins at baptism, where promises are made to teach the Lord’s Prayer, Creed and 10 commandments; to bring them to the the Word of God and the Lord’s supper; and to live among God’s faithful people. Confirmation classes begin in 6th grade and continue through 8th grade. The studies compliment these promises made at baptism, so the confirmands are ready to affirm their baptismal promises on Confirmation Day.
Kidz Club
KIDZ CLUB began as an organization for kids, and now focuses on the entire congregation and even the community. Kidz Club organizes big events like Trunk or Treat and a Live Nativity scene. They have also sponsored “prayer stones” and the Easter Egg hunt. Kidz Club has also participated in Operation Christmas Child since 2014. Items are stuffed in shoeboxes and collected and packaged to spread the Good News of Jesus all over the world.
